The highlights of the retreat are:

Our yoga retreats are open to all yoga levels, from beginners to advanced. The maximum participants in the group is 15.

The retreat is hosted on a beautiful organic farm in Byron Hinterland (Mullumbimby, ten minutes from Byron Bay), Wybalena Organic Farm. Wybalena is a 170 acre organic farm situated in the luscious Byron Shire. It is an idyllic property with rolling green hills, two spring fed creeks and seven large dams. It has plentiful and diverse wildlife and is home to many endangered species.

There is a large architecturally designed farm house with four bedrooms, swimming pool, and numerous outdoor decks. The house has a stunning 20 seat dining table perfect for group dinners and special events. Adjoining buildings include another three bedrooms and a large self contained studio which can be used as a teaching facility and also as a yoga space.

At Byron Yoga Organic Retreats, you will practice an energizing morning yoga and relaxing afternoon yoga. The yoga practice is a fusion between different styles of Yoga, such as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga. You will also practice meditation in the morning and afternoon.

Additionally, you will also learn how to build your own organic veggie patch with hands-on gardening workshop. Subjects will include how to create a healthy soil, how to make your own seedlings, what and when to plant, how to treat pest organically, how to fertilize the soil and veggies organically and how to create healthy compost.

Leah, founder of Byron Yoga Organic Retreats and Yoga Teacher at the retreats, is originally from France and has been living in Byron Bay for 10 years. Trained as an Ashtanga yoga teacher with Dena Kingsberg, she has been teaching yoga in the Byron Shire for more than five years and absolutely loves it. She has a great group of dedicated and loyal students who come to her yoga classes each week. Another love of hers is organic gardening and growing her own food. She worked on few organic farms and found the connection with nature healing and grounding... She wanted to combine her two passions in a beautiful retreat and that's how Byron Yoga Organic Retreats was born!

This retreat will take place in Byron Bay, Australia. From the lush Hinterland to the sparkling beaches on the coast, the Byron Shire is full of natural wonders.

For all the retreats, Byron Yoga Organic Retreats offer you organic and vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a light morning and afternoon tea. With a variety of dietary needs catered for, including gluten free and vegan options, there's something for everyone on the amazing menu.

During the retreats, you will enjoy lots of yummy organic vegetarian meals including fresh and nutritious salads, roasted vegetables curries, risotto, pasta, dahl, stir-fries, etc.

TO RUN THIS RETREAT, WE NEED AT LEAST 8 PARTICIPANTS. IF WE DON'T HAVE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE START OF THE RETREAT (AUGUST 18TH 2017), WE WILL NEED TO CANCEL THE RETREAT. IN THAT CASE, WE WILL REFUND YOU ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS YOU HAVE PAID. HOWEVER, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO COMPENSATE YOU FOR AIRFARE OR TRAVEL COSTS INCURRED. SO WE HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU TAKE A REFUND OPTION ON YOUR FLIGHT TICKETS. THANK YOU.
